Swedish Meatballs
Tender Swedish-style meatballs with creamy gravy, mashed potatoes and lingonberry jam.

Ingredients (for 2)
- Ground beef, 180 g
- Ground pork, 120 g
- Breadcrumbs, 30 g
- Milk, 60 ml
- Onion, finely minced, ½
- Egg, 1
- Cream, 120 ml
- Beef stock, 180 ml
- Lingonberry jam, For serving
Steps
- Soak breadcrumbs in milk 5 minutes. Mix with meats, onion, egg, salt and pepper.
- Shape small meatballs and brown them in a skillet until cooked through; set aside.
- Add stock to the pan, scrape up browned bits, then stir in cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
- Return meatballs to the sauce and serve with potatoes and lingonberry jam.
