Steps

  1. Make a soft dough with flour, milk, butter, sugar, yeast and cardamom; rise 45 minutes.
  2. Shape 8 round buns, rise 30 minutes, brush with egg and bake at 220Β°C for about 10 minutes; cool.
  3. Cut a lid off each bun, scoop out a little crumb and mix it with the almond paste and a splash of milk; fill the buns.
  4. Pipe whipped cream on top, add the lid and dust with powdered sugar.
