Ingredients (for 2)

Steps

  1. Salt the sardines generously and leave them 15 minutes; boil the potatoes meanwhile.
  2. Heat a grill, grill pan or barbecue until very hot.
  3. Grill the sardines 3–4 minutes per side until charred and cooked through.
  4. Serve with potatoes dressed in olive oil, a simple salad and lemon — eat them on a slice of bread, Portuguese-style.
Cook it together: One of you runs the grill, the other makes the salad and potatoes — eat outside if you can.
