Ingredients (for 2)
- All-purpose flour, 300 g
- Warm water, 180 ml
- Instant yeast, 1 tsp
- Ground beef, 200 g
- Green pepper & tomato, 1 each
- Onion, 1/2
- Mozzarella or kaşar cheese, 100 g
- Egg, 1, for brushing
Steps
- Make a soft dough from flour, water, yeast and salt; rest 30 minutes.
- Cook the beef with chopped onion, pepper and tomato until dry; season well.
- Shape the dough into long ovals, add filling and cheese, then fold and pinch the ends into a boat.
- Brush the edges with egg and bake at 230°C for 12–15 minutes; slice into strips.
Cook it together: One of you makes the filling, the other shapes the boats — pinching the ends is the fun part.
