Steps

  1. Knead the flour, egg, yeast, sugar, salt and milk into a soft dough; rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Divide into 8 balls and roll each very thin.
  3. Stack the sheets in a round tin, brushing each generously with melted butter.
  4. Brush the top with egg, sprinkle with nigella seeds and let rise for 20 minutes.
  5. Bake at 180°C for 30–35 minutes until deep golden, then drizzle with warm honey and serve hot.
